SurroundApps has launched its lightweight Web-based Document Management product SA-WebDAV that allows simple drag-and-drop maintenance of files stored on a server. Built on the internet protocol WebDAV, this product can integrate into security and login schemes in use on any Web Application.

The simple drag-and-drop approach to file transfers brings new dimensions of usability to online file-transfers and distributed document management. This is proven technology which SurroundApps has employed already in one of its projects with a US-based communications
company.

The product is architected to be scalable to large files and to be easily modifiable to fit into any Web Application infrastructure. It requires a very small foot-print on a Web Application Server.
